Over the course of three days, the Uckermark region plays host to musicians, writers and visual artists who present their work as part of a series of events initiated by the “Freunde der Uckermark” (“Friends of the Uckermark”).
This year the festival will once again focus on a distinctive mix of art, literature and music amidst a rolling landscape that provides the ideal setting.
Visitors will be able to see and hear all of the new artistic creations made especially for the UM Festival at different locations, including private gardens, open fields, public village squares and abandoned quarries in the towns of Fergitz, Pinnow and Sternhagen Gut.
The festival, to be held from September 9-11, will be rounded out by regional and rural products as well as a number of collaborations with local service providers, including hotels, private accommodations, kayak and bicycle rentals and retail stores.
