The eight edition of Sea Mud festival will be held in Phetchaburi, Thiland this weekend (May19th-21st). The festival has a wide array of fun activities and the chance to get very dirty in the healthy mud.
There are fun games such as mud sea boxing, mud slides and even a tug-of-war event, which is made more fun and challenging by the thick mud.
Visitors to the festival can also enjoy spa treatments, mud sculptures and musical entertainment and shows. Food lovers will get the chance to see how the local shellfish are harvested, by locals sliding across the mud on boards so they don’t sink in, and feeling around for the tasty treats with their hands.
This is just one aspect of the local life in the fishing community which can be experienced. Don’t miss the chance to try some of the local seafood dishes.
