The Houston Airport System said that the Houston Airport is planned to resume its limited domestic airline passenger service at 4 p.m.
The planes of United Airlines tends to operate three flights into Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport from Chicago, Newark, N.J., and San Francisco and three flights departing Houston for Chicago, Newark and Denver.
United Airlines, the Chicago based airline company will stick to a limited number of flights between Houston and other United hub airports on Thursday before starting to fly some regional routes Friday.
The customers should still expect to see cancellations this weekend, especially on regional flights, and it’s too soon to say when the airline’s operations will be fully back to normal.
They are assessing the situation, and the airport authorities will make that determination based on the situation on the ground.
At Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport, American Airline plans to operate some flights Friday to easy down the transportation while Southwest Airlines has suspended flights.
Delta Air Lines, too want to resume its flight, will operate after they take the conformation from the civil authorities of Houston.
Michael Thomas the spokesman of Delta Airlines said that they are planning to commence scaling up operations.
There are thousands of domestic and international flights which have been cancelled in the wake of the storm.
