Champions fly with airberlin! Italian and Spanish football fans have every reason to be happy. airberlin is set to operate 18 special flights to take Barcelona and Juventus fans to the German capital. For the first time in the history of Champions League football, the final will take place in Berlin’s Olympic Stadium on 6th June, where Juventus Turin will play against FC Barcelona in front of over 70,000 spectators. The flights are available to book immediately.
The additional flights will begin on 5th June. The first airberlin flight from Turin to Berlin-Tegel will take off at 8:30 am, followed by further flights at 1:30, 6:30 and 7:15 pm. On the day of the final, there will be two Champions League flights to Berlin-Tegel (departing at 7:30 am and 12:30 pm) and four to Berlin-Schönefeld (departing at 8:00 and 8:30 am and 12:55 and 1:15 pm). Barcelona fans will leave for Berlin-Schönefeld at 6:35 am on 6th June. The additional scheduled flights have a total capacity of almost 3,900 seats (outward and return flights). airberlin will also operate seven special charter flights.
