On Monday it was revealed that Universal Orlando has purchased another 10 acres of land with an aim to continue their major expansion.
As per a report from a leading news media agency, Universal Orlando has already quite a great deal of land. However it is adding 101 more acres that it had purchased for $27.5 million.
The land is situated on Sand Lake Road and offers for its new expansion an important frontage road.
Not only do they possess the 101 acres to work with their expansion but this is also an addition to the 450 acres that they had purchased for $130 million way back in December of 2015. Therefore, presently Universal Orlando possesses much more than 570 acres that they would be able to expand their theme parks with.
Universal Studios require more property to keep pace with Walt Disney World.
It has been confirmed that a Nintendo-themed land or area would be constructed at Universal Orlando and this had been declared in November 2016.
The rest of the ideas are kept under wraps but then Comcast revealed that several plans are ready to be launched. Universal Studios already have theme parks in various regions including Singapore, Japan, Orlando and others. Every year the brand is planning in adding a major new attraction.
Universal Studios also has grand plans for its Orlando location.
This purchase of 101 additional acres of land indicate that they are serious. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter continues to grow as a fresh generation of roller coaster is currently being constructed and work is also continuing in other areas of the park too.
