Yesterday, an elderly passenger had suddenly fallen ill onboard the aircraft of a flight of Aer Lingus airliner. This incident compelled the flight to make an emergency landing in the region of Frankfurt during the early morning of Thursday.
The aircraft was on its way to Vienna.
And, the flight had departed from Dublin around 7 a.m. in the morning. During that point of time the aircraft was at a distance of nearly 35 minutes from Vienna airport. Thereafter, it was forced to make an emergency landing a little after 9.30 a.m.
Until the airplane could make a landing, the authorities ensured that the sick elderly lady was offered medical treatment by some of the passengers on board the flight who had medical training.
In Germany, at the Frankfurt Airport, two ambulances had been waiting to receive the woman when the plane had landed in Frankfurt.
Then, the woman had to be carried out of the plane.
Immediately afterwards, the lady was attended by four paramedical staff members.
