A flight of Southwest Airlines that had been travelling from Denver to Chicago, to its Midway Airport had to go for an emergency landing following an ‘unusual odor’ that had been noticed inside the cabin on Thursday, as confirmed by the airliner.
The captain of flight 4378 was able to help the flight make a perfectly safe landing.
All the 140 passengers and five crew members would continue to Chicago on a different plane and they are expected to arrive two hour behind schedule.
The Southwest Airlines said in its official statement that the original aircraft is out of service. A certain tweet, probably from a passenger on board the flight read about the condition of the flight, as firemen were ushered into the aircraft and the passengers were requested to disembark from the plane.
