Laurence Silverman, the US ambassador to Kuwait said in his speech that tourists have several opportunities to sightsee a large number of tourist attractions including global cities, adventure tourist spots, sports tourism, shopping centers, famous restaurants, beautiful beaches, museums, national parks and much more.
During the year 2012, president Barack Obama had declared that the aim of US was to attract at least 100 million tourists every year within 2021.
Silverman said that US was already on its way to realize this dream. This is because of the fact that last year, it lured in about 80 million tourists. In 2015, it drew in more than 1.3 million travelers from the Middle East that marked an increase of about 97% from 2008. And, from the region of Kuwait, the number of tourists visiting the U.S. has risen by about 500% in the last 10 years. He also said that U.S. is hopeful that this growth trend would continue.

Khaled Jafar offered a presentation on Alaska. He said that Alaska is enriched with plenty of wildlife that is frequently visited by tourists, several hiking facilities as well as a great deal of cruise options. At the end of this event, Tim Ponce, the Consul General of the U.S. Embassy spoke about the process of application for a U.S. visa.
