US travel ban lifted up tension in tourism sector

US travel banForeign tourism that sustains millions of American jobs is gradually getting sluggish as a result of the notorious travel ban imposed by the US President Donald Trump travelers from seven Muslim majority countries. In majority of the countries, online searches for flights to the United States are down in most major nations. However, this down is not that evident on those banned countries.

 

All through the world, this travel ban created an upsurge, widespread demonstrations, and critical press coverage and bombarded with lawsuits. A petition drive brought together thousands of signatures supporting British citizen and Juhel Miah, a mathematics teacher who was removed from a U.S. plane since he was accompanying British students on a school trip to America.

 
To quote Miah, ‘’ I really think I was being targeted. Is that because of my name? Is that because of the way I look or the color of my skin? Who knows? I do not know.’’ Miah was one among them who got tangled up in the recently imposed restrictions. He said, ‘’ I have been approached by other teachers, and they have told me until this is settled they are questioning whether they are going to bring their pupils along to America.’’
