Vietnam conducted the 29th International Tourism and Travel Show in Montreal City, Canada from 20th to 23rd October that witnessed the active participation of more than 200 pavilions from 70 nations and territories across the world.
Bamboo dragon flies, conical hats and other kinds of handicrafts were all displayed at the two Vietnamese booths in this travel show.
More than 36,000 people are expected to pass through the turnstiles where they would have an opportunity to enjoy a trip of over 250 charming destinations from all over the world, from South America, North America to the various places including Africa, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean region.
There would be ten workshops on tourism, within the framework of this travel and tourism show, along with special art performances.
This unique event also presents a unique opportunity for travel companies to exchange experience and seek partners.
Vietnam had embraced over 9.4 million international travellers in the initial nine months of 2017 marking a year-on-year rise of about 28.4%. Meanwhile the number of domestic travellers have hit 57.9 million in the period between January and September.
The tourism sector of Vietnam has been able to gross more than 16.54 billion USD in revenue, up 26.5% against the same period last year.
