Visit Isle of Wight to showcase the island at WTM

visit-isle-at-wtmVisit Isle of Wight (VIOW) has announced to showcase the island at the World Travel Market (WTM) this November. WTM is held annually and is a leading global event for the travel industry and travel media. It takes place in London’s ExCel exhibition centre from 7th-9th November. This year, around 50,000 travel industry professionals are expected to meet, network and conduct business at the show.


Around 200 countries of the world attend this show. The Isle of Wight stand at the show will showcase the island’s heritage, stressing connections with globally acclaimed names like Victoria and Albert, Tennyson, Churchill and the Isle of Wight festival.


A new destination manual will be launched which will feature WIGHT BID levy payer businesses with information on local businesses, maps and new itineraries for tour operators and travel agents for promoting the island. Destination Cowes partnership, who are co-investors in the exhibition will join VIOW for attracting more cruise ship business and new events to Cowes. £5,500 of the WIGHT BID fund is being invested in the World Travel Market exhibition this year.
