VisitBritain announces hosting ExploreGB in Harrogate

VisitBritain flagship annual travel trade event, ExploreGB, will be held in Harrogate in 2019.

The trade-focused event will have hundreds of international buyers from countries across the globe meeting with travel trade suppliers from UK.

The show will be attended by travel industry buyers from UK’s inbound visitor market that will include Australia, France, Germany and the U.S. and high-spending markets like China like Brazil, Canada, India and the Gulf Co-operation Council markets.

Between May 8^th -10^th the event will be held at the Harrogate Convention Centre.VisitBritain chief executive, Sally Balcombe was pleased to  bring ExploreGB to Yorkshire and the north of England in 2019.

He stated that from its world-renowned reputation as a spa destination, Harrogate is a fantastic destination that showcases quality tourism, the diversity of experiences across the north and serves as a great base for international buyers to conduct post-event tours across Britain.

ExploreGB will be the right platform for UK tourism suppliers and local destinations an opportunity to showcase their products in front of hundreds of international buyers, creating business opportunities, boosting visitor numbers and incaresing the economic benefits of tourism in UK.

In the two-day trade event business meetings, networking  will take place and delegates will be experiencing tourism products and services along with first-hand pre and post-event educational trip to destination in the UK.

In the year 2017 there were 39.2 million inbound visits to the UK and the visitor spent £24.5 billion.
