Which is America’s most patriotic city to visit?

QuincyThe city of Quincy in Massachusetts is fighting hard to be officially titled as ‘the most patriotic city in America’ by the Congress.

Quincy has presented the country with two of its most powerful presidents over time. The two granite tombs of the former presidents John and John Quincy Adams, accompanied by two tombs of the first ladies can be explored at the famous cemetery.

According to the state representative Bruce Ayers, the city is ‘ Ground Zero for America’. Ayers has already filed a bill to declare Quincy as the most patriotic city in the entire country. He feels that the intellectual foundation of the American Revolution has started right at the heart of this city.

The city of Quincy has presented the country with its first presidential library, which consists of John Quincy Adams’ belongings.

Apart from Quincy, Boston has a huge claim over the tag of the most patriotic city because of the ‘ Boston Tea Party’. But no one from Boston has opposed the bill for Quincy’s claim to be the most patriotic city.

Apart from being one of the most patriotic cities of America, tourists know Quincy as the birthplace of Dunkin Donuts. The Dunkin Donuts shop with retro counter is a popular spot for the tourists.

The city carries tradition and modern approach beautifully with Church of the presidents, City Hall and historic cemetery at one side and condos, restaurants and modernized construction sites in the other.

In order to make its claim strong on ‘the most patriotic city’ tag, Quincy has celebrated the American Independence day on 4th of July with attractive oceanfront parties, parades, bonfires and majestic fireworks.

It is yet to see whether the Congress passes the bill or not. May be in very near future, patriotic tourists will flood the city of Quincy to know more about the Founding Fathers of America.
