Wild Wadi Waterpark™ hosted the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson (WLSL) at the weekend for the seventh consecutive year to highlight the importance of swimming and teach potentially life-saving skills.
Chris Swartz, Wild Wadi Waterpark manager, said: “This event is held at waterparks, community pools and other facilities around the world each year and since its inception, more than 155,000 children and adults have participated. Wild Wadi Waterpark™ has been always a supporter of corporate social responsibility and we are very proud to be part of this great initiative once again.”
Around 45,000 children and adults at aquatic facilities around the world united to attempt to set a new Guinness World Record™. It is estimated the event was hosted at 500 locations in more than 24 different countries. The event in Dubai attracted more than 100 children and adults who learnt basic swimming techniques from professional swimmers.
