Samir Wildemann will join Fusion hospitality group as the vice president of operations , he holds more than three decades of experience in the hospitality industry and has managed hotels for 20 years in Thailand.
In the next two years Fusion will be opening several new properties, two hotels in Saigon , one in Vung tau and a new resort in Quang Binh.
Fusion’s luxury experience at all its properties will be redefined and enhanced by Wildemann.
From three years he held the position of general manger and senior vice president for south-east Asia at Siam Kempinski Hotel.
With Le Meridien he worked for 17 years and took his first senior hotel management role in Singapore more than 24 years ago.
Wildemann said that he had always worked for mid-sized international chains and wanted to join a smaller but growing organisation, like Fusion.
His background will help contribute the growth and development at Fusion which will further strengthen the reputation and strong positioning which the group already has in Vietnam.
So far, Wildemann is known to live and served in more than ten countries, his first work experiences was in Hong Kong.
He is fluent in German, English and French and conversational Japanese.
