Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, started operating its new Tel Aviv service from Riga. The long awaited route will operate all year round twice a week, allowing passengers to travel between Latvia and Israel on very low fares while enjoying excellent onboard service.
With its newest route, WIZZ now offers a total of nine routes to six countries from Latvia.

On the occasion of the new long awaited route, a special cake was made. It was decorated with a basketball ball, symbolising the famous Tel Aviv basketball team – the winner of Euroleague, the highest-level tournament in Europe, and the first European club to win an NBA team.
