The breathtaking images of landscapes from across the UK will be on display until Sunday, 22 April and includes the 2017 winner of the Network Rail ‘Lines in the Landscape’ award, a category which challenges entrants to best encapsulate how Britain’s railway relates to its surrounding landscape.
The exhibition is the latest addition of artwork to the station, following on from 12 pieces of original art which were installed in February. The pieces will improve the experience of passengers travelling through the station and create a more colourful and vibrant environment.
Vinny Burke, Leeds Station Manager for Network Rail, said: “We want everyone to enjoy using Leeds station and we are always looking at way we can improve station users’ experience.
“The exhibition will be on display for three weeks and I’d encourage anyone passing through the station to take the opportunity to see world class photography.
“The exhibition, along with the recently installed artwork, will provide a warm welcome to anyone vising Leeds and we look forward to passengers seeing the display.”
