World Science Festival returns to Brisbane better and bigger

World Science FestivalBringing another round of firsts for the sunshine state, the World Science Festival returns to Brisbane bigger and better in 2017.

 

Kicking off this year’s festivities on March 22nd is an exclusive live performance of Stanley Kubrick’s sci-fi wonder 2001: A Space Odyssey, accompanied by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

 

Released almost 50 years ago, it’s one of the most influential works in cinema
history, renowned for beautifully blending science and art into a visual and aural masterpiece.

 

Whether you’ve got a budding scientist in your midst or want to open your mind to the wonders of the universe, you’ll find a range of activities and discussions in this year’s line-up that are sure to blow your mind.
