This autumn Poland will have 45m deep swimming pool which will be ideal for beginner and professional divers to practice.
The World’s deepest pool will be filled with 8,000 cubic metres of water which is equivalent of 27 Olympic size swimming pools.
Deepspot will be taking over the title from Y-40 Deep Joy in Montegrotto Terme, Italy which had a depth of 42m.
There will be underwater tunnel for spectators, conference, training and hotel rooms allowing the views of the pool.
It will be based in Msxczonow which is a town 40 km of Poland’s capital city, Warsaw as the pool is still under construction.
It is likely that Deepspot will be able to retain the title for about six months after opening as Blue Abyss which is a 50m-deep pool will be opening in the UK in 2002.Currently it is being built in Colchester.
John Vickers, managing director of Blue Abyss mentioned that his project is more than just a super-sized pool.
It will be operating as a commercial astronaut training center and a human performance center helping people reach the peak of their physical capabilities.
