Wyndham Rewards Forecasts Summer of Savings, Partners with Six Flags to Unveil Thrilling, Members-Only Perks

wyndham worldwideWith temperatures creeping upward and peak vacation season fast approaching, Wyndham Rewards® is forecasting big savings for members this summer thanks to two new hotel promotions and a partnership with Six Flags theme parks across the U.S.


Through October 31, 2016, members can magically redeem $100 in Wyndham Rewards gift cards after just two qualified stays at any of Wyndham Hotel Group’s nearly 8,000 hotels worldwide. Plus, when members book online at WyndhamRewards.com, they’ll save up to 25 percent off the best available rate at participating hotels—each and every time they stay.


“We want members to have their best summer yet, and we’re determined to do everything we can to make sure each and every one of our members is able to take advantage of this offer,” said Josh Lesnick, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Wyndham Hotel Group. “Whether it’s a road trip down the coast, a long weekend away with friends or an overnight getaway to a favorite Six Flags park, there’s never been a better time for members to pack their bags and hit the road.”


Take a Wild Ride this Summer

Building on the savings offered by its summer promotions, Wyndham Rewards has signed on as the official national hotel partner of Six Flags, giving its members from coast to coast access to special park discounts and perks.


This summer Wyndham Rewards members can receive a ticket offer for $10 off regular admission at any U.S. Six Flags park valid on normal operating days through September 18 when they join or login to their Wyndham Rewards account. The benefits also extend inside the park, where members can receive a coupon sheet for special offers and discounts to use during their visit. Guests can also taste the magic of Wyndham Rewards when they purchase Wyndham branded cotton candy. Additionally, Six Flags and Wyndham Rewards will host a Wyndham Rewards event on July 14, where members can enjoy even more perks, including a special ticket discount and access to exclusive ride times on select rides after the park closes.


Return of the Wyndham Rewards Wyzard

Further amplifying Wyndham Rewards’ offerings this summer is a brand new, multi-million dollar, integrated marketing campaign that once again leverages the whimsical Wyndham Rewards Wyzard—portrayed by Kristofer Hivju of “Game of Thrones” and “Force Majeure” fame. Conceived and produced in continued partnership with People Ideas & Culture’s production company, CY&N by PI&C, the nearly five-month long campaign builds upon last year’s award-winning efforts with an emphasis on fun network and cable television spots, branded television and radio integrations, and newly updated on-property collateral worldwide.


“With the addition of nearly 5 million members since May, the response that we’ve had to the new Wyndham Rewards from both guests and hotel owners has been tremendous,” added Lesnick. “This campaign builds upon that success while further showcasing the tremendous value of Wyndham Rewards.
