WYSE Travel Confederation and Destination Canada will partner this year to host some of the world’s most important buyers and sellers of youth tourism and educational travel products and services at the World Youth and Student Travel Conference (WYSTC). WYSTC is a leading global trade event for the youth, student and educational travel industry.
The annual event of WYSE Travel Confederation, WYSTC brings the top buying and selling organisations from across the globe and from all aspects of youth and student travel together in a different country each year.
The event is poised to attract more than 120 buyer delegates this year – most of whom are typically retail or wholesale organisations looking to renew acquaintances and source new product and services for popular youth and education sectors. WYSTC buyers will look for sectors such as internships, work & travel, au pair programmes, language travel programmes, international volunteer travel, activities and tours, international education programmes, and youth-tailored travel accommodation.
Educational workshops, seminars, and panel discussions for travel professionals are the other added attractions that the buyer-seller business appointments will look for. This year’s programme features industry experts discussing a range of topics, including emerging destinations for work & travel to the rise of digital nomadism to Gen Z attitudes towards international education and youth-driven technology travel trends.
The Global Youth Travel Awards (GYTA) will complement the event. It is scheduled to take place from 26 to 29 September 2017 at the Palais des congres in Montreal.
