Zambia has been capable of raising the nation’s tourism profile to more than 1,000 U.S. travel agents and potential tourists, through the annual U.S. Travel and Adventure Shows according to a government official’s statement on Monday.
Zambia’s ambassador to the United States, Ngosa Simbyakula mentioned in a statement that Zambia had made most of the opportunity to promote its tourism to the U.S. market after this African country set her stands in three important shows in Washington, Los Angeles and Chicago.
As one of the strategies to lure more tourists to Zambia, Simbyakula said that tourism shows have established the tone for tourism sales this year and such promotions should continue.
The sales director at South African Airways, Paula Newton said in the same statement that Zambia was a fascinating tourism destination for most tourists from the United States.
The Travel and Adventure Shows are the largest series of travel series in the United States boasting of a rich history of over 14 years.
