She shares her views how Data Appeal is working in travel and tourism domain in global sphere. The Data Appeal Company removes the complexity from data-driven decisions and delivers accurate, extensive – and most importantly comprehensible – data.

 

Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS) is one of the world’s leading tourism congresses and expos, which innovates and reactivates the travel industry. Seville, Spain hosted this travel event for three days of forward-thinking workshops, keynote speeches and networking opportunities where the most inspiring tourism success stories took the center stage.

 

Travel And Tour World: Tell us something some about your company
Hannah Babineau: Our’s is a data appeal company. We built this platform which analyses a visitor’s journey from 360 degrees. We have data information about flight searches, flight booking, hotel booking and other issues from the pre-travel end so you can understand the domain and the origin of these visitors.

 

For example a German traveller who will perhaps book in May to come in August. These are thea insights for marketing manager. Our interest is not just from reputational standpoint. We map a territory which hotel, transportation, attractions etc. and are most visited and partnered for business travellers or families, excursions or investments data-driven data driven.

 

Travel And Tour World: Are DMCs and DMOs your main clients?
Hannah Babineau: Yes, DMCs and DMOs are our main clients.

 

Travel And Tour World: What is the main way to get your access? Is there a program unit to sign up or it should be a financial agreement?
Hannah Babineau: We sell licenses that could be short term like a couple of months or depending on budget may be.

 

Travel And Tour World: Do you think tourist boards will be interested in inbound tourists?
Hannah Babineau: Most important is to know your customers, what they like and dislike. It’s a good way of knowing things that may create a negative experience also.

 

Travel And Tour World: Do you have a worldwide network?
Hannah Babineau: Yes definitely. We are global software, based in Italy. But we have clients from across the world.

 

Travel And Tour World: So you have a string market in terms of customer?
Hannah Babineau: We work from Italy. So we have lot of Italian clients and that’s how we started. We have office in Brazil. We visit Berlin and other cities in Europe. We are also quite strong in the Middle East.

 

Travel And Tour World: Do you have any mobile application that managers can track information from and update?
Hannah Babineau: We are mobile friendly company. The managers can go directly to their phones and get information about us.
