Over the weekend, a private jet crashed in northern Mexico after it left Las Vegas and search crews found no survivors on Monday.

As per the local media, jet carried three crew members and 10 passenger. They were returning from a trip that included seeing a boxing match between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Coahuila state government said that the plane wreckage in a remote mountainous area in the municipality of Ocampo on Monday was located through an air search.

The names or nationalities of the victims however was not recognized and the cause of the crash is under investigation.

After leaving Las Vegas in the afternoon jet was expected to land Sunday evening in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey and the flight controllers lost contact with the plane over Coahuila.

Mexico’s civil aviation authority said it and other agencies had begun recovering bodies and what remained of the plane Monday.

Utah-based TVPX company has registered the plane which is listed as an insurance, customs and trust company.
