Switzerland drew 632,000 American visitors in 2016 thanks to its snow-capped Alpine peaks, sparkling lakes, cosmopolitan cities, and intriguing castles. Lucerne is a must-see for its enchanting beauty. The pedestrianized old town, perched on the banks of Lake Geneva, provides attractive squares, ancient homes, and world-class music performances. One of the oldest wooden bridges in Europe is the Chapel Bridge.
