This year, Cambodia Tourism Minister Thong Khon will be heading the Cambodian delegation at the 16th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City.

The Expo would be held from September 8 to 10 with the theme, ‘Growing Forward Together.’

It is the largest yearly global travel event in Vietnam and organized by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism.

ITE HCMC 2022 is considering enhancing exchanges, tourism advancement and business prospects for Vietnamese and foreign tourism enterprises and associations.

The event is supported by the Tourism Alliance of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. It would be held at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center in a hybrid set-up.

A physical event supplemented with virtual mechanisms like virtual B2B meetings with buyers, conferences and live streaming would be there.

This year, there would be a booth of the Tourism Ministry of Cambodia at the event.

Another highpoint will be ‘Cambodia Night’ on September 8, where the country will get the chance to display its numerous art and cultural forms.

Vietnam MICE Forum, Vietnam Night ‘Dear Gao’ and Korea Night on September 9 are other important features of the event.

In the last two years, the expo was not held in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and this year, it is projected to lure more than 300 participating companies and 150 high-level buyers from more than 50 countries and zones, along with over 30,000 trade visitors, in the course of three days.
