In 2020, Gordian Software has facilitated the online travel platform give its customers a unique and enhanced user experience with its airline seat map integration that allows the 70 million users of Hopper, to view and select available seats. Earlier, the customers were unable to choose their seats unless they visited airline websites and purchased them separately.

2.5 million seats were booked using the Gordian Software, by the 1million Hopper customers. Comparing the first to second half of 2021, the user base grew to 148%. The rapid growth of the user base and the extreme high usage of the app, prove that the platform is on a path of tremendous growth.

As travel is picking up, more and more flyers are eagerly looking to book vacations to make up for the lost time. The customers are looking for good deals on flight tickets and this is the top priority for them. The customers also don’t want add-on ancillaries like seat selection and baggage. Gordian Software enables travel websites to sell air travel ancillaries, and successfully manages hundreds of data integrations to offer a simpler and more cost effective experience.

Gordian Co-Founder and CEO Stephen Grabowski in a statement has said that the Hopper app has become extremely popular amongst the customers and is becoming very important US travel companies. The company’s mission is to remove all unnecessary obstacles from traveling.

Kiera Haining, Head of Flights Marketplace for Hopper is impressed by how efficiently Gordian works. Hopper saw the potential to reach this large scale early on in their partnership and hopes that this partnership grows to new levels. She is also satisfied with the overwhelmingly positive response to the booking system.

Gordian has rapidly become a trusted partner for several important online travel companies as it can create newfound revenue streams for both the travel sites and airlines. It also helps to improve the travelers experience for booking online. Gordian has grown 10 times the pre-pandemic levels. Gordian’s customers include Trip, Priceline, Hopper, Kiwi, TravelPerk, Otravo, Travix, and lastminute.
