The victim named Dobby Dutton, 50 years old, of Cypress, Texas, appeared in the court of Houston on Friday where federal prosecutors are trying to have Dutton face her charges in federal court of San Francisco, declared by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California.

On 29th June, Dutton and his husband boarded a United Airlines flight that headed from Alaska to San Francisco. Around three and a half hours into the flight, while collecting trash from passengers a flight attendant noticed the face mask worn by Dutton’s husband fallen off while he slept. The federal mask was declared mandatory for airlines on 13th Sept. which extended till 18th Jan.  2022.

The flight attendant tapped the shoulder of Dutton’s husband and asked to put his face mask again, to which he disagreed. However, authorities said that Dutton got up from her seat next to her husband and scolded the flight attendant for touching her husband. The flight attendant tried to explain to Dutton but she kept on shouting while she walked toward them.
