2017 is the ‘Visit Maharashtra Tourism Year’. With Mumbai in its state, which next only to Goa, there are lovely beaches, forts, and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ajanta and Ellora Caves. What makes Maharashtra different from the rest of the states is that it has an all-encompassing climate. Ranging from the forests, the beaches and the hill stations and more, this is an internationally connected state. air, rail, and roadways connect it to the major regional destinations as well. The Incredible India movement showcases that what one can see globally, one can see that in India itself.
The festivities are added attraction. The Dahi Handi festival in Mumbai, Ganesh festival, Holi, wine festival in Nasik are much accredited worldwide. ITB Berlin 2017 proved a successful event in terms of business for Maharashtra tourism.
