GreeceThe summer of this year denotes a strong increase of 41% in early booking for Greece.

Data shows that there is a general trend for a dynamic return of European tourists to Turkey and Egypt this year. Bookings for Turkey increased by 92% placing the country in the third place among the most sought-after destinations due to the lower cost of its vacation packages.

Tunisia recorded an 81% increase in demand from tourists and Egypt recorded an impressive 71%. Both countries are expected to have an excellent tourist season, if there are no security issues.

The Mediterranean continues to show vigorous growth in 2018, with Spain remaining the most popular destination. The Balearic Islands, Mallorca and Ibiza, with an increase of 21% are major reasons for Spain’s occupying the top spot.

Portugal (+ 15%), Bulgaria (+ 28%) and Italy (+ 45%) complete the list of destinations with a good start in early summer bookings for 2018.

Regarding pricing, Tunisia is the cheapest choice among the most popular destinations (65 Euros per person per day), and the UAE remains the most expensive choice (146 Euros last year).
