Los Angeles hosts fictional theme park art show

artThemed around fictional amusement parks a new art show will debut in Los Angeles, around fifty artists have created a variety of work based on theme parks from films, TV shows , books, video games and more including Jurassic Park, Westworld, The Simpsons and Batman.

 

 

Chogrin, the shows curator mentioned that the idea of fake theme parks first occurred to him when he was at Disneyland.He said that he grew up with both Disney World and Disneyland and was a fan of the parks.

 

These places are gradually becoming a part of their modern culture and will stay for decades to come and  creating theme parks that are either parodies of Disney was fun.

 

Some of the fictional parks to mention in the show  are Itchy & Scratchy Land, Krustyland, and Duff Gardens from The Simpsons; Anatomy Park from Rick and Morty; Brisbyland from Venture Bros.; Arctic World from Batman Returns; Funland from Scooby-Doo; and Pacific Playland from Zombieland.
