The Tourism Authority of Thailand has partnered with leading travel community, Tripoto to promote the different emerging routes of Thailand. Three travel bloggers have been shortlisted from Delhi and Mumbai and explored different regions individually.
Some of the attractions in the Nort like Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Pai were travelled by the bloggers.
In Central- Bangkok, Ayuyjjaya, Khao Yai and in the East- Chantaburi and Koh Chang were covered too.
Gem stone mining, snorkeling, Indigo-dying and visiting historical sites were some of the activities in which the travellers took part.To encourage potential travellers the bloggers created created photo blogs and articles.
The outreach was maximized through Tripoto’s strategic promotions.
Cholada Siddhivarn, Director, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Mumbai said that Thailand is one of the most youth friendly countries as it has an array of adventurous activities and thrilling experiences to indulge in. Although many young Indian travelers visit Thailand, not all of them are aware of its newly added routes and off beat destinations which are less explored. The partnership will assist us in promoting the different shades of Thailand and further increase arrivals in these emerging destinations.
