Dubai will launch a $5 million moon-shaped resort. The resort is designed by the Canadian architectural company called Moon World Resort Inc.
The about 735-foot high resort has been designed to be built within 48 months. The project is likely to bring 2.5 million guests annually.
Moon is likely to increase the economic development of the country.
Through various sectors including a wellness centre, nightclub, space tourism, technology, hospitality and more while also being surrounded by what is set to be a lunar surface.
The 10-acre surface will include an authentic ‘lunar colony’. The plan is designed to attract tourists who are interested in space tourism. The destination is likely to include 300 private residential units. The unit names ‘Sky Villas’ is available for purchase. There will be an exclusive private club in the resort. With money, it is not possible to do anything in Dubai.
The project is meant to help visitors who don’t have connections to Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk experience space tourism.
Co-founders Sandra G. Matthews and Michael R. Henderson said in an Arabian press meet said that this moon is likely to impact the tourism, economy, financial, MICE, agricultural sectors and more.
The project is expected to be the largest and most successful modern-day tourism project in the MENA region. The project might also double annual tourism visitations to Dubai based on its global appeal, brand awareness and unique integration facilities.
The nightclub, event centre, public lounge, spa centre and even an in-house “moon shuttle” that takes you around the property. There are also plans for the structure to serve as a hub for space agencies and the astronauts planning their future missions into space.
