70th edition of Italian Exhibition Group’s show dedicates to travellers sensitivity

The rhythm of nature in materials and lines, the room as a place of physical wellbeing, the person at the centre of the SPA and outdoor space as a refuge from stress: these are the elements that express contemporary hotel evolution in the four exhibitions of SIA Hospitality Design. The 70th edition of Italian Exhibition Group’s show dedicated to design, hospitality and hôtellerie, to be held from 13th to 15th October next in Rimini Expo Centre (Italy), will feature the latest in traveller sensitivity and prepares to inspire tourism operators and designers.

SIA Hospitality Design, running alongside TTG Travel Experience and SUN Beach&Outdoor Style, spotlights design innovations for hôtellerie, from rooms to the spa and outdoor areas. The major names in Made in Italy architecture will be developing their concepts in four shows, amid an array of natural colours and geometric shapes, innovative materials and technological solutions, creating open, free and welcoming environments that well match the theme of the 2021 edition of the three shows, «Be Confident».

In Hall D3, adjacent to the Design Arena, the Room Exhibition will host six hotel room mock-ups grouping together the most innovative architects of Made in Italy hôtellerie design, full of suggestions and creative ideas, like the softness of the curves, a characteristic feature of room evolution. Andrea Auletta, Studio Svetti, Contract Lab, STUDIOPEPE., DAVIDECUMINI Studio and Vanda Venturi Architetti have been chosen by SIA for their distinctive style and long-standing expertise in the contract segment.

The Outdoor Exhibition in Hall D1 consolidates the bond between design and nature. Architect Alessia Galimberti has created, through the colours of nature that dictate fashion and design trends, a Tailor Living Room for outdoors, designed with eco-sustainable and innovative materials, in which to take refuge from daily stress. A large experiential area with products typically linked to the open-air world.

Hotel in Motion, the show organized by architects from the Wellness 7.0 group, represents hotel evolution. A chequerboard of suites, SPAs and outdoor spaces to portray the technologies and services that hotels offer their guests: virtual trainers that monitor the physical activities of the guests in their rooms, check-out by phone and services arranged in collaboration with cities. In Hall D2, visitors will be able to totally immerse themselves in the exhibition using a visor for a 3D viewing of hotel rooms.

The Wellness Exhibition, organized by architect Simone Micheli, takes the person to the very centre of relaxation and wellbeing by implementing forms of nature, different degrees of light that becomes a substance to mould and a combination of single elements that generate a pure and distinctive wellness centre. The Bloom Spa to Reborn exhibition (Hall D4) is an area designed to calm the soul and relax the body.
