A New Coffee Tradition Begins at Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at The Surf Club

An Italian coffee bar concept, rooted in the southern European morning ritual of going to the “bar” for a quick caffè, perhaps something to eat and a brief chatter, is arriving to the Champagne Bar at The Surf Club, sharing its iconic Miami home with Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at The Surf Club.

As one enters the palm-fringed and sunlit Champagne Bar, the coffee aroma, the sound of fresh coffee grinding, the display of delicate pastries, and the barista ready to take orders will momentarily transport guests to an authentic caffè in Italy.

Classic espresso-based beverages, from cappuccinos to macchiatos, are made with coffee from local Miami-founded Per’La Specialty Coffee Roasters, with a promise of farm-to-cup. Directly and sustainably sourcing the highest quality of rare Arabica coffees from farms around the globe, beans are roasted daily to perfection in the Miami roastery.

Head Barista Armando Parker, a native of Central America, a region known for its high-quality coffee varietals, knows first-hand the importance of this intricate bean. With 15 years of coffee experience, he is certified by the Barista Guild of America and has specialized in latte art in two coffee schools in Chicago and Pennsylvania. Armando takes pride in working daily to preserve coffee consistency and to craft each guest’s preferred beverage with skill and attention. A stellar beverage from Armando is the Cacao Matcha Latte.

While comfortably seated in the Champagne Bar, with a view of nature through historic arched windows, taste the notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts and raspberry in each coffee creation, as well as the notable aroma. This coffee sensory experience is enhanced by a fresh daily selection of pastries such as focaccina (seasoned Italian flat bread), mini almond or chocolate croissants, mini raisin bread, and pizzetta Margherita (mini pizza).

Now available daily from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon, guests and locals are invited to have breakfast the Italian way at the Coffee Bar at the Champagne Bar. No reservations required.
