A New Visa System Announced in the UAE

A new system announced on Monday in the UAE offers different types of visasfor various visiting purposes.

For the first time, this new scheme does not require a host or sponsor. Major improvements include easing entry requirements for all types of visas, and offering flexible visa durations meeting requirements of the visitors and the purpose of visit.

All entry visas are available for single or multiple entries and can be renewed for similar period(s) and are valid for 60 days from their date of issue.

This visa is introduced for attracting young talents and skilled professionals for finding job opportunities in the UAE. The visa is given to those classified in the first or second or third skill level as per the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization and fresh graduates of the best 500 universities in the world. The minimum educational level needs to be a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
