ABTA recently announced that Tokyo, Japan, will be hosting the 2019 Travel Convention.
The city is known for unique combination of traditional and modern culture and within a span of two years will be hosting major international sporting events that will include Rugby World Cup 2019 and the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.
During the Travel Convention the Rugby World Cup will take place giving new opportunities to the ABTA Members to see new areas of the Japanese regions.
The Prince Hotels & Resorts, Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa will host the convention from October 7th-9th. It is directly connected to the International Convention Centre Pamir.
The host partners for the convention are The Japanese National Tourism Organisation, Japan Association of Travel Agents, ANA – All Nippon Airways and Prince Hotels & Resorts.
At the end the 2018 Travel Convention the announcement was made today in Seville.Mark Tanzer, ABTA chief executive was delighted that Tokyo will be hosting the 2019 Travel Convention.He said that the British holidaymakers showed an increasing interest in visiting Japan.
The Convention will be a great opportunity to show travel professionals all that it has to offer –the incredible cuisine, beautiful landscapes and traditional architecture to its super speed trains and illuminated sky scrapers.
