On Tuesday, Abu Dhabi, UAE’s Capital has declared that the emirate will be welcoming all international tourists from December 24th, 2020.
This statement was issued by the Abu Dhabi Media Office, outlining the requirements for foreign tourists to follow:
‘Following the successes achieved by implementing the precautionary measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 and maintaining a low rate of confirmed cases, Abu Dhabi will welcome back international tourists from 24 December 2020.’
For international travelers, the procedures sanctioned both by the residents as well as tourists, include exemption of travelers from ‘green’ countries to undergo quarantine and decreasing the quarantine period to 10 days only for travelers coming from other countries.
For all travelers, it’s essential to undertake a PCR test on day 6th, if they are staying 6 or more days, as well as on day 12th, if they are staying 12 or more consecutive days. Country classifications will be evaluated every two weeks.
