Russian national carrier Aeroflot has launched regular flights between Moscow Sheremetyevo and Dubai World Central (DWC) starting October 29. This brings the total number of flights per week on Moscow-Dubai routes to 28.
The airline will operate a daily flight between Moscow Sheremetyevo and DWC during the winter schedule, in addition to its existing flights at Dubai International (DXB).
Aleksander Efimov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the UAE, Jamal Al Hai, Deputy CEO of Dubai Airports, Oleg Fomin, Consul General of the Russian Federation in the UAE, and Eugene Barry, Executive Vice President of Commercial Group at Dubai Airports were joined by representatives from the airport community to accord a warm welcome to the inaugural flight, Dubai Airports said in a statement.
The statement further highlighted that arriving and departing passengers were handed goody bags filled with selected treats including souvenirs, chocolates, free SIM cards and discounts to Dubai attractions.
