HRAWI conducted FSSAI’s FoSTaC programme, training hospitality professionals on food safety, hygiene, and sanitation at The Grand Bhagwati, Ahmedabad.
The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI recently conducted the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’s (FSSAI) latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) programme on August 28th. Held at The Grand Bhagwati in Ahmedabad, this program saw the participation of 23 hospitality professionals who received specialized training from Dr. Pasupathy of Parikshan. The training focused on crucial areas such as food handling, preparation, hygiene, sanitation, and waste management. By emphasizing these vital aspects, the programme provided attendees with practical skills to implement stringent food safety protocols in their daily operations.

To date, HRAWI has successfully trained and certified 3,106 professionals through FSSAI’s FoSTaC Training Programme, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing food safety standards within the hospitality sector.
The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI is a prominent association representing the interests of hotels and restaurants across Western India for over 73 years.
