On Black Friday Nov. 23, 2018, Air Canada Vacations recorded an increase of more than 300% in bookings compared to a normal booking day. Canadians booking vacation packages included sunny beach destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico, and the vibrant cities and landscapes in Canada, the USA and Europe.
The Black Friday sale 2018 was the highest single-day sales in the company’s 38-year history.
Craig Landry, President, Air Canada Vacations & Senior Vice President, Revenue Optimization at Air Canada said that Air Canada Vacations continues to diversify its package offerings and offers conventional vacation packages along with range of unique and authentic travel experiences.
To step on the growth pedal, Air Canada Vacations will launch a new booking website early next year. It will give the customers a choice over several compelling vacation experiences.
Air Canada is Canada’s largest domestic and international airline having 200 airports across six continents on its network.
