As part of the national labour disruption relating to government-proposed changes to the national pension system, certain Air France flight crew unions have called for a strike from 6 to 9 January 2020, even though discussions between the government and the unions have resulted in guarantees for the future pension system for flight crews, and the strike notices previously filed have been lifted by majority unions.
On January 6 and 7, 2020, Air France plans to operate its entire flight schedule.
Air France would like to remind its customers that it has operated its entire flight schedule since the start of the national strike movement in December 2019, with the exception of adjustments to the flight schedule as mandated by the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) which have affected all airlines operating in France.
