Air New Zealand‘s Airpoints programme has unveiled a series of updates, bringing more opportunities for its 4.7 million members to earn and spend rewards.
Members are now collectively earning over one million Airpoints Dollars daily, thanks to new partnerships, enhanced features, and innovative offerings introduced throughout the year.
Since launching a revamped online Airpoints platform in August, Air New Zealand has focused on delivering greater value to its loyal customers.
Kate O’Brien, General Manager Loyalty, highlighted the airline’s commitment to improving the programme:
“Over the past few months, we’ve introduced updates like new partnerships, enhanced earning opportunities in the Airpoints Store, and platform upgrades. These changes ensure our members can earn and redeem Airpoints Dollars more easily and enjoy more perks.”
The airline is also working on introducing a new tier for its most frequent flyers, promising even more exclusive benefits in the future.
Airpoints Store Black Friday Sale:
The Airpoints Store, which offers over 10,000 products, is running its largest-ever Black Friday sale. From today until Monday, members can enjoy discounts of 10-40% on over 13,000 items, with some top deals including:
The Airpoints Store is also now accessible via the Air NZ app, making it even easier for members to browse and shop.
Shairpoints for Friends and Whānau:
The unique Shairpoints feature allows members to pool their Airpoints Dollars with up to ten friends or family members, making it simpler to achieve collective travel goals. This expanded feature brings dream holidays within reach for more travelers.
Everyday Rewards Partnership:
Starting December 2, members of the Everyday Rewards programme can convert their points into Airpoints Dollars. With a conversion rate of 2,000 Everyday Rewards points equating to 15 Airpoints Dollars, this partnership offers an easier path to earning travel rewards.
Earn While You Shop:
Members can now earn Airpoints Dollars on purchases made in the Airpoints Store. For every $100 spent, members will earn 1 Airpoints Dollar, adding even more value to their shopping experience.
With these updates, Air New Zealand is further solidifying its position as a leader in loyalty programmes. From exclusive sales to streamlined rewards earning, the airline continues to enhance the travel experience for its members.
