Air Seychelles Issues Travel Advice for Upcoming Peak Period

As travel restrictions’ eases globally and with the school holidays in the Seychelles starting soon, Air Seychelles Ground Services is expected to witness a peak in travel this upcoming Easter holiday until
the end of April 2022.


To ensure a smooth and safe experience throughout, and to allow for sufficient time to complete check-in, immigration and customs formalities, Air Seychelles is advising all passengers travelling with the national airline as from 14 April until 1 May, 2022 to arrive at the Seychelles International Airport at least three hours before their flight.


For more convenient travel options passengers are encouraged to use the online check-in platform
via airseychelles.com available from 24 hours up to two hours for international flights and 24 hours
up to one hour before departure for domestic flights.

To avoid delay in the long queues, passengers are reminded to maintain the check-in luggage size
and weight requirements as outlined by the airlines’ policy which includes 30kg in Economy and 40kg
in Business Class.


Passengers are further requested to follow the latest entry COVID-19 requirements as stipulated by
their country of destination and to verify all travel documents prior to arriving at the airport.
Guests travelling on other carriers handled by Air Seychelles are also advised to adopt the same
practice for further ease of travel during the peak period.

Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, was established in 1978 and began
long-haul service in 1983. The airline offers international flights to Johannesburg, Mauritius,
Mumbai and Tel Aviv as well as charter services on demand. On its domestic network, Air Seychelles
operates daily flights between Mahe and Praslin as well as charter services throughout the
archipelago.


In 2021, Air Seychelles was bestowed the most coveted title of ‘Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline’ for
the second consecutive year and ‘Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline Lounge’ for the first time in history.
The airline has also been recognized as ‘Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline – Business Class 2021’ and
Indian Ocean’s Leading Cabin Crew 2021′ at the 28th edition of the annual World Travel Awards.
