Airbnb witnesses strong revival in global tourists to Thailand

Last year, Bangkok remained the highest booked Thai destination on Airbnb, closely shadowed by Phuket, Pattaya, KohSamuiand Chiang Mai.

Heightening thisdynamicincrease are the US travelers. The US scores as the key country of origin for Airbnbvisitorsentering Thailand last year. Other top countries and areas of origin were the UK, Asia-Pacific and Europe, taking into accountChina,South Korea and Australia.

The renaissance in outbound travel of China from the fourth quarter last year has been a contributory factor for the recovery in global travelers in Thailand, and continues to be a bright spot for Thailand this year.
