Alex Tisch appointed President of Loews Hotels & Co

Alex Tisch has been recently selected as the President of Loews Hotels & Co. In his latest role, Tisch will work closely with Jonathan Tisch, Chairman and Chief Executive of Loews Hotels & Co. Tisch first joined Loews Hotels & Co in June 2017 from Loews Corporation, where he served as a Vice President, twice.

The duo will collaborate with the executive leadership team in developing and executing the strategy of the company, and prudently manage capital and resource allocation, as well as oversee general operational effectiveness. Additionally, Tisch will continue to lead the commercial, acquisitions, development and the Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando Resort teams. 

Chairman and Chief Executive Jonathan Tisch said in his statement that people are tested in times of crisis and leadership shines through amidst critical times. He mentioned that as the team think about the future of the organisation and its leadership, they decided it was the right time for Alex Tisch to assume the role of president of Loews Hotels & Co. 

He shared that Alex’s steady demeanour has added reassurance and confidence to team members, partners, and guests during a difficult time in the industry. He mentioned that over the last three years, Alex has helped shaped the future development and growth of our company and said that his judgement, thoughtfulness, analytic ability, strategic focus, and congenial manner have served his teams and the company extremely well.
