Allegiant has unveiled plans to launch twelve new nonstop routes to popular vacation destinations, expanding its network options in 22 cities across the United States starting in Spring 2024.
Notably, Allegiant is adding Orlando International Airport (MCO) to its robust network, making it the first new station the airline has added since March 2022. The new routes to Orlando International Airport include service from Asheville, North Carolina; Allentown, Pennsylvania; and Knoxville, Tennessee, with one-way fares.
Additionally, Allegiant is introducing new routes to Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) in Florida, including service from Rapid City, South Dakota, and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE), with routes from Bismarck, North Dakota. Other destinations in this expansion include Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Nashville International Airport (BNA), Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Nevada, Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in Florida, Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in New Jersey, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in Florida, and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in Texas.
Drew Wells, Allegiant’s Senior Vice President of Revenue and Planning and Chief Revenue Officer, expressed excitement about offering travelers new destination options and celebrating the airline’s success in these markets. Allegiant, known for providing low-cost nonstop options, aims to make travel accessible in as many markets as possible, ensuring customers can enjoy affordable and direct flights to a variety of vacation destinations.
