AmaWaterways offering the riverboat holidays in Europe, Asia & Africa is expanding its business with the introduction of new AmaMagna in May 2019.
It will set along the Danube River boats a revolutionary double-width design.
AmaWaterways has revealed its new Danube river cruise with the introduction of the traditional European river vessels.
The new cruise, Ama Magna, is set to be the biggest ship launched in 2019, twice the width of traditional European river vessels. The 194-passenger ship includes 98 standard staterooms, each covering over 300 square feet.
There are other features include a large heated sundeck for taking in the endless vistas, swimming pool equipped with whirlpool and sky bar, an al fresco glass-enclosed restaurant, spa with new treatments, fitness room and generous common areas for a variety of onboard events and entertainment. It will also debut a quieter and more fuel-efficient engine. The construction for this exciting new vessel began last year, in March 2017.
AmaMagna will be sailing along the Danube, Europe’s second longer river, which winds its way through Central and Eastern Europe.
The passengers can take one of four journeys along the Danube River and experience cities such as Prague, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. There will also be opportunities to take in UNESCO world heritage sites or shop at Europe’s world-famous Christmas markets. AmaMagna is just one of three latest offerings to be launched in 2019 by the company. It’s also set to launch the AmaDouro, sailing on Portugal’s Douro. Boasting four world heritage sites, the Douro is one of the world’s oldest demarcated wine regions and a longtime producer of the country’s prized port wine.
AmaWaterways will also launch a 156-person river cruise along the Rhine which is one of Europe’s most popular river cruise routes.
