Arson set by employee kills at least seven people in Daegu, South Korea

Seven people dies and another 41 people have been hospitalised due a sudden fire in a law firm. People are suspecting the fire to have caused by an enraged employee. The incident has shaken the entire firm and the building. A 50 year old man has been identified as suspect.

The place of the incident is in Bomeo dong which is next to Daegu District court. The area is hugely populated and many important offices and mass gatherings are happening here. Immediately 60 fire engines arrived with a work force of 150 people. It took around 20 minutes to get the fire in controlled. The incident has caused the work to be completely stopped. With continuous effort the team managed to rescue the members and bring peace.

The fire begun at 10.55am and it spread pretty quickly. The location is 130km from the capital of Seoul. The Authorities state that they heard a massive explosion around that time. Yonghup news agency reported that initially a huge black smoke has been seen along with a huge explosive sound.

The incident has caused 41 people to fall severely sick. Among them 26 people are being treated for the burn injuries and rest of them are being treated for smoke inhalation. The incident marks the disapproval of people and rage from their work place. The suspected employee has planned about the incident for a long time, as many are suspecting.

It is not the first time when a fire has broken in like this in Daegu. In 2003, arson caused by a 56 year old man has caused death of 192 people in the same city. The incident has shaken the city and has been recorded as the deadliest deliberate loss of all time.
