In Arunachal Pradesh, the Central government of India has recently sanctioned the opening of two new tourist circuits in Tirap and Longding Districts; this initiation is expected to boost region’s tourism activities along these locations.

These recently approved tourist routes in Tirap district comprise Dibrugarh-Deomali-Hukanjuri-Khonsa and in Longding district, Dibrugarh-Kanubari-Longding; as confirmed on Monday by the official sources. As per a release published by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has therefore been determined with the support of the skilled authority in the Ministry of Home Affairs to open the following new Tourist Routes in Arunachal Pradesh to perk up tourism.

In addition, the central government has requested the state administration to expand the capability of the administration of the district comprising police of Longding and Tirap districts to serve to the safekeeping of the area for creating an environment favorable to promote tourism. The concerned agencies will constantly monitor the activities of tourists visiting these areas.

The MLA & Advisor of Agriculture & Horticulture, Gabriel D. Wangsu, tweeted that he is hugely satisfied with the Government of India for developing new tourist circuits in Longding and Tirap districts. So far for tourists, these 2 districts of Arunachal were kept out of bounds on the ground of riots and disturbances. However, soon after recent reassurance by HM Amit Shah this notice came in. After all if Mr. Modi is there, anything is possible.
